Excellence in Orthodontics 2011
Excellence in Orthodontics 2011 will take place on 9-10 April 2011 at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London. Registration will open on 1 December 2011 at 0900.
Excellence in Orthodontics 2010
This took place on April 24-25 2010 and will again be held at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London. The course was fully subscribed two weeks before the planned date for closure of registration and had 150 delegates.
This book was published by Theodore Eliades and Nikolaos Pandis in 2009. Nigel Harradine contributed a chapter on Historical aspects and evolution of ligation and appliances and David Birnie on Treatment mechanics with self-ligating appliances.
Excellence in Orthodontics 2009
This took place on April 4-5 2009 and was again held at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London. Another very successful course with over 130 delegates.
Seminars in Orthodontics issue on Self-Ligating Brackets - March 2008
David Birnie and Nigel Harradine are Guest Editors of the March 2008 issue of Seminars in Orthodontics which is devoted to self-ligating brackets. Chapter authors include Michael Alpern, Jeff Berger, David Birnie, Silvia Geron, Nigel Harradine, Dimitrios Mavreas, Hugo Trevisi and Frederik Bergstrand, and John Valant. Topics covered include the history and development of self-ligating brackets, the Damon System, the In-Ovation R bracket, the SmartClip appliance, the SPEED system, the Time bracket, lingual self-ligating bracket systems and the use of self-ligating brackets in patients with severe periodontal disease.
Excellence in Orthodontics 2008 UK
Excellence in Orthodontics 2008 was held on April 19-20 2008 and was another highly successful course with approximately 160 delegates.

Excellence in Orthodontics 2007 was repeated in the Course Center Integrated Dentistry, Lichtenvoorde, The Netherlands on 11 and 12 May 2007.

Excellence in Orthodontics 2006 - Saudi Arabia
Excellence in Orthodontics 2006 was repeated in Riyadh on February 1st and 2nd 2007 at the invitation of the Saudi Dental Society.
The course followed the Saudi Dental Society’s 18th Congress at King Fahad Cultural Center, Riyadh on 29 to 31 January 2007 and was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh.

Excellence in Orthodontics 2006 was repeated at the Prince Philip Dental Hospital, Hong Kong on October 9th and 10th 2006 at the kind invitation of Professor Urban Hagg.
Excellence in Orthodontics 2006 - Norway
A shortened version of Excellence in Orthodontics 2006 was held at the Norwegian Orthodontic Society's meeting in Kristiansand, Norway in May 2006. This was a very enjoyable and successful two day course, enhanced by wonderful Norwegian hospitality! View photographs of this event.
